Look who is coming to Hovey Winery for August and September, MARY JEAN ST. CLAIRE. Hovey Winery is excited to welcome Mary Jean to the tasting room. A resident of Angels Camp, Mary Jean appreciates the abundance of subject matter here in Calaveras County to paint. JOIN US for an artist's reception on August 4th from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Mary Jean studied art in college and mentored under Howard Brodie and Dr. Raymond Brose. She is a member of the California Art Club, the Mother Lode Art Association and the Arts of Bear Valley. A past member of the University Art Club, Committee for Art at Stanford and the San Francisco Ceramic Circle, she won multiple awards in Bay Area juried shows. Her work can be found in private collections worldwide.
