The Hovey Tempranillo was inspired by the wines of Spain both in style and substance. Chuck Hovey and Barden Stevenot, both long-time winemakers in the Sierra Foothills, were among the first to bring this varietal to the Foothills. It has been a favorite among Hovey fans ever since its release in 2009.
Food Pairing Notes
Tempranillo pairs well with tomato-based dishes like Lasagna. It is also a great companion to grilled meats and smokey dishes.
