Our Viognier stands out with its light acidity, hints of a spring garden and its amazing creamy texture. We get our fruit right here in Calaveras County. These tiny little green grapes love the sunshine and soil in the Dalton Vineyards outside of Angels Camp.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
The first aromas remind us of ripe peaches The color and clarify of this wine is like looking at a fine diamond - it just sparkles. That first sip is full of stone fruits and then comes a hint of white pepper and a drop of honey. You'll notice a lovely crisp finish due to the acidity of this vintage.
Vineyard Notes
Deirdre Dalton carries on the tradition of her father and is producing amazing fruit. Thanks to Dalton vineyards for their stewardship of this varietal in Calaveras County.
Production Notes
This varietal is cold fermented at 55F. The wine is aged for up to a year before being bottled right here in Calaveras County about 1/2 mile from our Tasting Room.
Winemaker Notes
Our Viognier is barrel aged in a mix of new and neutral oak to highlight the floral and tropical nature of the fruit while also adding body and texture to the wine.
Food Pairing Notes
This hearty white wine pairs nicely with Asian flavors, pulled pork sandwiches, or pineapple pizza (if that's your thing).
