It's all about the Blend!
The third session in this 4-part series features two of our popular blends: our C2 Red Blend which earned a Gold Medal at the 2022 Sierra Foothills Wine Competition, and our Founder's Blend which we made in honor of Chuck Hovey. Blends are becoming increasingly popular, for good reason! They are interesting and exciting. We'll focus on these two blends which both use Tempranillo as a base and deliver very different experiences by blending different varietals in unique ways.
These events will be hosted by industry expert, Tom Bender. You will learn about the nuances of specific varietals by enjoying vertical flights of different vintages as well as barrel samples from unreleased vintages. Tom will explain what is meant by body, color, clarity, nose, finish, mouthfeel and other "wine" terms. Wine lovers at all levels will enjoy and benefit from Tom's insights. Each event will include tastings of the featured wine and food pairings that highlight the features of each wine.
