2014 Isabel Cabernet Sauvignon
5 In Stock
The fruit is sole-sourced from the Rasmussen family vineyard. Chuck and the Rasmussen's have had a long established relationship which has produced some amazing wines. The grapes were cold soaked before fermentation and racked into new American oak barrels. The wine then sat for almost three years prior to bottling. Upon its release, the wine received rave reviews from the industry and well as wine club members. This extraordinary wine exhibits classic red Bordeaux flavors of spice with woodsy notes from the barrels. On the nose there are cedar and spice, followed by notes of cherry and cola on the palette, and waves of black licorice in the finish.

Great red! Very drinkable, even on a warm summer day, so I imagine it would be great in cooler weather as well!

Pretty damn good shit. I would normally settle for something under $10 but this has set the bar higher.
