As soon as you pour the first glass, you can see this wine is something special. Dark and rich in color, you can see the blackberry before you taste it. As you take that first sip, the berry really pops. Then you might notice a slightly more intense, concentrated flavor of dried cranberries followed by hints of something spicy like cardamom. This wine reveals layers of complexity with each sip.

This bold red historically comes from the Rhone Valley of France, and is grows successfully in Australia. Calaveras County has similar growing climates to Australia which is no wonder why these vines love our hot, dry climate.
